This is what sets Caring House apart from for-profit facilities
Caring House welcomes all adults, regardless of religion, gender, race, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, unhoused, and immigration status.

We exist to serve the community.
-
Caring House is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
-
Our home-based setting is completely focused on helping residents and families through the end-of-life journey – the first and only one of its kind in Los Angeles County. We are here to serve residents and families.

At Caring House:
-
Residents receive round-the-clock caregiving, including personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, meals, and medication assistance.
-
Six spacious, single-person bedrooms, designed for privacy and dignity.
-
There is a comfortable family room, dining room where resident meals are cooked (and all requests are gladly filled), and a lovely, calm backyard garden for family members to take a respite in the sun and breeze.
-
Our residents’ needs are 24/7, and so is our staffing. Our 3:1 resident-to-caregiver ratio is designed for the high demands of end-of-life care.
-
Our empathetic and compassionate team of caregivers are extremely experienced with the challenges at the end of life, and they are able to serve as compassionate guides for family members.
-

Different For Families
-
We don’t just care for the residents. We care for the entire family – we want everyone to feel at home.
-
Freed from caregiving duties, family and friends can now spend their time supporting and connecting with their loved one and each other in our home-away-from-home.
-
Generous donations from our community helps keep our mission thriving. Thank you!
