Caring House Assistant Care Manager Sandra Vuoso

Meet Sandra Vuoso:
Assistant Resident Care Manager and Director of Quality Control

Languages: English, Spanish

Sandra Vuoso is a familiar face around Caring House. One of three caregivers who have been with us since we opened our doors, she can often be found cooking delicious meals for everyone or compassionately caring for our residents and families. These are both things she does very well, and they are now among the many things she does as our new Assistant Resident Care Manager!

In this role, Sandra complements Joanna Franco’s positive attitude and compassionate nature as Resident Care Manager. They work together beautifully as they continue to make improvements to the referral and admission process, care professional communications and caregiver oversight/training, while truly fostering an environment where every member of our family thrives.

Before joining Caring House, Sandra was a private caregiver, which is when she finally began to nurture what she considers her true calling. Prior to that, she worked for various companies as an office manager and bookkeeper. Raised locally, Sandra graduated from Banning High School and initially studied cosmetology, working as a hair dresser while also helping in her family’s restaurant, which she had been doing since her mid-teens. Later, she studied business administration at both El Camino and Harbor College.

Her strong maternal instincts continue to serve her well at Caring House, so it’s no surprise that she is also a mom to three wonderful kids. They enjoy spending time together in nature, and really, just spending time together in general. Anyone who has been around Sandra can see why – her warm, loving nature and calm demeanor are inspiring.
