Name or Be the Caring House “Angel of the Day”Have a special person you wish to honor or recognize? Have an important date (birthday, anniversary, memorial, etc.) coming up? The Caring House Angel of the Day program is a great way to celebrate that special person or date. Angel of the Day – Donate $1,000 and you (or a person you honor or recognize) will become Angel of the Day for a date you choose, and be recognized on that day at Caring House and included in our regularly published list of Angels. At the same time, you will make an important difference in our work to admit and retain all residents in need. Donations are deductible as charitable contributions. Of course, only 365 dates are available each year; dates will be assigned on a first-come, first served basis; if a preferred date is already taken, we will help you select an alternate date. Background – It is a plain fact of life that some individuals in need of Caring House’s wonderful services and support will not be able to afford the standard monthly charge. This will be apparent for some at the time they seek admission. Others will need financial help after they’ve been Caring House residents for a while. Being fiscally responsible is important to keeping Caring House going for the benefit of all residents. Our ability to admit and retain those who cannot afford to pay the standard charges will depend on donations and the generosity of the community. For more information about the Angel of the Day program, call Ed Long at (310) 544-2488 or use our contact us page. Additional naming opportunities are available. | ||
